Our Homes

Our homes are designed to feel calm, warm, and welcoming. We’ve created spaces that are safe and stable, with thoughtful routines, soft touches, and an atmosphere that helps children feel grounded and cared for from the moment they walk through the door.Set in the peaceful surroundings of Sutton Coldfield, our homes are inspired by the nearby woodlands of Sutton Park, offering children not only the safety of a therapeutic environment indoors, but regular access to nature and the emotional benefits that come with it.Each home will support up to two children at a time, allowing us to provide high levels of individual care. This smaller, more focused model gives us the time and space to truly understand each child’s story, build strong relationships, and offer the emotional consistency they may have never experienced before. We follow a trauma-informed, relationship-based approach to care, underpinned by therapeutic models such as PACE, attachment theory, and emotional regulation strategies. This means our staff don’t just supervise, they connect, support, and help children build the tools to manage emotions, trust others, and begin to heal.At Little Woodlands Care, our homes are more than a safe place to stay, they are places to grow, be believed in, and begin again.

Our Team

At Little Woodlands Care, our team is the heart of everything we do. We’re building a group of passionate, child-centred professionals who don’t just see their work as a job but as a calling to make a lasting difference in a child’s life. From Registered Managers to Residential Support Workers, every team member plays a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment where children can begin to heal and grow. We value empathy, resilience, and the ability to truly connect with young people, even on their hardest days. We’re committed to investing in our staff just as much as the children in our care. That means ongoing training, therapeutic development, reflective practice, and support to grow in both confidence and skill. As we grow, we’ll do so slowly and responsibly, ensuring our culture remains strong, our homes remain consistent, and the wellbeing of both our children and our team is always our first priority
